Pat is there for moments that feel like a lot, especially transitions. When it’s time to slow down, pause, or move from one part of the day to another, Pat helps children feel steady again.
Fun Fact: Pat is an excellent nap buddy, he can fall asleep anywhere (even floating in a lily pond once!). His favourite thing is helping friends wind down after a big day.
The Focused Explorer
Ari the Superb Fairywren
Bright, curious & adventurous.
“Ooooh! What’s that? Let’s take a closer look!”
Ari supports moments when excitement, curiosity or busy thoughts make it hard to focus. He helps children gently gather their attention and bring it back to what’s in front of them, without dulling their spark.
Fun Fact: Ari once tried to fly from tree to tree just to see what the world looked like from every leaf. He’s a tiny explorer with a huge heart for discovery.
The Playful Regulator
Tilly the Tree Frog
Sunny, bouncy & quirky.
“Hop, pause... hop again!”
Tilly understands that waiting is hard and feelings can build fast. She helps children notice when excitement turns into frustration, and guides them back to calm through playful pauses and movement.
Fun Fact: Tilly once threw a party in a puddle and invited all the bugs (and a few surprised butterflies). She believes even a rainy day can be the start of something fun!
The Brave Steady One
Chad the Australian Water Dragon
Strong, dependable & courageous.
“One step at a time. I'm right here.”
Chad supports moments that feel a little scary or uncertain. He reminds children that bravery doesn’t mean no fear, it means moving forward with support.
Fun Fact: Chad once helped a nervous koala cross a log bridge in the rain, and didn’t even flinch when it wobbled. He’s cool in a crisis and loves helping others feel strong too.
The Gentle Soother
Hazel the Microbat
Quiet, thoughtful & kind.
“Let's find some quiet together.”
Hazel is there for sensitive moments when the world feels loud, busy or overwhelming. She helps children slow their breathing, soften their bodies and feel safe enough to rest.
Fun Fact: Hazel hums lullabies when she flies and can find the comfiest, snuggliest nook faster than anyone. Her wings are like a blanket of calm.
The Caring Connector
Opal the Sugar Glider
Cheeky, eager & full of heart.
“Let’s try it together.”
Opal supports moments of uncertainty, change and connection. She reminds children they don’t have to do new things alone, and that flexibility can lead to unexpected joy.
Fun Fact: Opal once glided across a moonlit clearing just to deliver a leaf crown to a friend. She’s always finding ways to make others smile.
